As part of UPenns Department of Bioengineering, Microbiology, Psychiatry, and the Perelman School of Medicine, the de la Fuente lab ( seeks exceptional new team members with the grit and passion to make groundbreaking scientific discoveries. We offer a unique range of research possibilities at the point where biology and engineering intersect, with many opportunities for you to venture into cutting-edge research. The overarching goal of the lab is to engineer biological systems to make new medicines to combat disease.We provide a work environment that values and supports the continued growth and success of all lab personnel. The de la Fuente lab is committed to building a diverse team and strongly welcomes applications from minority candidates. We are currently seeking a Lab Manager with an advanced degree in biological science. In this position you will support our research by carrying out a diverse array of task with energy, diligence and attention to detail. Theses task include managing projects seeking new funding and preparing grant proposals, gathering input for reports and communicating at many levels. You will serve as the liaison with university administrative offices and sponsors and collaborate with faculty, post-docs and administrative staff.

A Bachelors Degree and 3 years to 5 years of experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience required. Advanced degree preferred.
