US CITIZENSHIP is REQUIRED Role: Sales Learning and Development Manager University Description: The Sales Learning & Development Manager is responsible for providing learning and development to build a strong sales talent pipeline that differentiates Unisys in the marketplace and attracts and retains top talent. This role is critical to enabling and building our Sales pipeline here at Unisys. The position is responsible for establishing an enterprise-wide learning approach and framework for sales. Additionally, the sales learning strategy needs to align with and integrate the learning principles and continuous learning foundation that guides all learning at Unisys. The role partners with key stakeholders including Sales leaders, Human Resource Generalists, Instructional designers and Portfolio Marketing to gain a sound grounding of the business strategy and knowledge of the key sales audiences.The individual in this role must have the ability to see and understand the big picture and articulate a compelling sales learning strategy that meets the needs of multiple sales audiences. The individual must also bring deep expertise in sales development and learning as well as breadth of experience working with sales audiences in a similar culture. It is important that the individual is credible and considered a trusted advisor to help shape sales processes, define future talent requirements, and develop talent bench strength. The position is responsible for leading Sales Learning & Development and designing a consistent learning system with learning paths for multiple sales audiences. The role is responsible for researching and leveraging external providers to help build a best-in-class sales learning system. The role is responsible for recommending whether to build or buy learning programs, processes and tools that meet the needs of the sales audiences. The position is responsible for intentionally designing sales learning programs and processes to incorporate formal and informal learning (social and experiential learning). Equally important, the role is accountable for identifying how to leverage technology to provide a platform and tools for learning on-demand, virtual learning, easily accessible knowledge repository, and collaboration for sharing best practices. Core activities: Defining a holistic approach to accelerate the time to competence of sales people,skills through formal and informal learning Building both confidence and competence through practice to drive behavior change Evaluating industry leading best practices for sales development and employing sound yet accelerated learning principles and strategies Defining parameters for planning , designing, deploying, and measuring sales learning to achieve greater leverage, scale and impact Providing blueprint for sales learning paths with key components (programs, processes and tools) Ensuring all learning components are based on a solid foundation of sales functional competencies Defining learning paths for critical sales audiences and roles Includes sales leaders actively participating in formal and informal learning as a coach, mentor and role model
